Lynsey J. Grundy · BSc (Hons) Psychology
Care, then psychology, now this.
I’m Lynsey J. Grundy. I’m Manchester based. I can meet in Didsbury and surrounding areas. Online sessions are available.
I offer compassionate, confidential, and non-judgmental emotional support for people who want a safe space to talk openly and feel genuinely heard. With experience on a crisis text line, I have supported people navigating distress, anxiety, and challenging life circumstances with empathy and professionalism. I also have experience with the RAF Association’s friendship work, and years in care with older adults and with nursery-age children.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, which has given me a strong understanding of emotional well-being and the importance of sensitive, client-centred support. My approach is respectful and grounded in active listening, so you can speak freely, process your thoughts, and feel supported without fear or judgment. I aim to provide a reassuring and supportive presence.
Please note that my service does not offer clinical treatment or crisis intervention. I am DBS checked. I work with adults, and I don’t see children as clients. I don’t claim a BACP, UKCP or HCPC registration.
